Iván Vera founded INNSPIRAL in 1989, anticipating that innovation would lead Chile to development. He has led over 50 high-impact projects in Latin America by implementing innovation systems in business models and devised the Innovation Intensity Index, which measures and monitors the impact of initiatives in this field. He is a renowned speaker, with over 400 international presentations on corporate innovation and startups. In 2005, he founded the Circle of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at ICARE, and in 2016, he was honored by USM as one of the 100 most influential alumni in its history. Iván is the Director of Fraunhofer Research Chile, founder of the Innovation Club, and Magical Startups.
