Iván Vera founded INNSPIRAL in 1989, anticipating that innovation would lead Chile to development. He has led over 50 high-impact projects in Latin America by implementing innovation systems in business models and devised the Innovation Intensity Index, which measures and monitors the impact of initiatives in this field. He is a renowned speaker, with over 400 international presentations on corporate innovation and startups. In 2005, he founded the Circle of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at ICARE, and in 2016, he was honored by USM as one of the 100 most influential alumni in its history. Iván is the Director of Fraunhofer Research Chile, founder of the Innovation Club, and Magical Startups.

Since 2005, Arturo has been a professor at Santa Maria University (USM), teaching courses such as Introduction to Industrial Civil Engineering, Business Models for Emerging Technologies, and Innovation & Digital Strategy (MITE Program and MBA). He is a frequent speaker on Innovation and Digital Transformation topics in Chile and the region, with over 100 conferences delivered.”

Javier joined INNSPIRAL in 2016. In his role as Senior Business Leader, he spearheads the analysis and structuring of innovation projects with a focus on mining. Her career includes three years in the public sector, specifically within the Ministry of Education. From there, she transitioned to the World Bank through a three-month internship program in the United States. She started her career at the Pension Fund Administrator Habitat.

Previously, for two years, she was involved in an entrepreneurship venture focused on developing clinical simulators for venous puncture training and another venture dedicated to central catheter installation. Additionally, she provided consultations at +MEANING, an education-based startup, where she systematized a process for creating mathematical activities for students. Henry kicked off his journey at INNSPIRAL as a Trainee, later transitioning to Tech Analyst and Tech Developer before ascending to his current role as Tech Leader, where he now drives technology and innovation with his expertise.
He was a founding partner of Terruar, an NGO with an educational focus operating in the sixth region. Additionally, he spent five years as a coordinator and teacher at technological schools within the Fablab IDI – DILAB network. Previously, he taught innovation courses for the PENTA UC program. He also gained experience at Dimerc, InnovArauco, and Smartrip along the way.

Marietta joined INNSPIRAL as a trainee in late 2022, but later assumed the role of Business Analyst, where she collaborates on various corporate innovation projects.
Previously, she was involved with the UC Anacleto Angelini Innovation Center, operated jointly by the university and the Angelini Group, where she assisted in organizing and planning the International Festival of Social Innovation (fiiS) at the university. Additionally, Marietta participated in two other university-related initiatives, developing mobile applications for the International Relations Office and the Women in Engineering UC project.
